Basel is a great place to start! We have a great supportive & inclusive community that will be able to help you get started. The best thing to do is to just get on stage and try it out at an open mic.

 

The first one I recommend is Murder Mondays at the Grenzwert Bar, which is every Monday at 19:30. In order to get on stage, contact Albert Louw or Teddy Hall (email) who organize the night- first-timers always get on. Before the show, at the same place they also offer a free workshop between 18:00-19:00.

Alternatively there are occasional open mics at The Beast Basel- to find them, please check the calendar.

 

Beyond this there are also shows organised by the comedy brands: Sparkle Comedy, Comedy Kiss and Otter Comedy.
